Altave: Multi-User Equipment for Ultra High Speed Data Transmission

With state-of-the-art infrastructure, a strong network of partners and a commitment to advancing the field, the EMU lab is designed to foster innovation and create significant scientific and technological impacts. We invite research institutions worldwide to take advantage of the EMU laboratory to explore the next generation of optical and THz communication technologies.

    Provide an advanced experimental facility for high-speed optical and THz communication research. This infrastructure will support the scientific and industrial communities by enabling validation of technologies capable of addressing key societal challenges such as the growing demand for ultra-high-speed data transmission. The EMU lab seeks to promote technological advancements in communication systems, guaranteeing Brazil remains at the edge of worldwide advancements in this field. 

     
  • Vision

    Become a reference lab in Latin America for research in optical and wireless communications. This facility will contribute to scientific breakthroughs as well as foster collaboration with national and worldwide partners, ensuring that São Paulo State is internationally recognized for its contributions to high-speed data transmission technologies.
